Catalog Description:

C.1886, Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Atlanta" , 8-day time/strike/alarm city series mantel clock. Condition: Rosewood veneered case in very nice condition with a narrow piece of veneer missing on the very bottom edge of the base. The original finish has been cleaned and polished. Gold stenciling on the door is original. Original dial has darkened a little and is stained. Tablet is original. Overall very good to excellent original condition. For reference, see Tran Ly's book on Seth Thomas, 3rd Edition, page 186, fig 508. 2004 price guide of $375. And a repair label on the rear from Hope, Arkansas. Ht 19.5" [49.5 cm]
